What Essentials Should You Pack When You Travel

While traveling can be fun and exciting, an improperly packed bag can put a damper on what should be an otherwise relaxing trip. Whether you forget something, or brought something that isn’t allowed by security, living out of your suitcase can be stressful! Today we’re going to be talking about how to properly pack, especially if you’re bringing your Nature’s Ultra CBD Oil with you.

What You Should Consider Packing When Traveling

When packing for a trip, especially one out of the country, it’s important to have a detailed list prepared in advance. If you just start pulling things out of your closet, chances are that you’re going to forget something important! Luckily, there are a lot of resources online that will give you detailed packing lists that include anything and everything you might need while traveling.

In addition to general packing lists, you can also look up what to pack specifically for the area you’re traveling to! You wouldn’t pack the same types of clothes for Alaska as you would Hawaii, for example. Knowing where you’re going and what the weather is like, or what activities you may participate in, can greatly help you decide what the essentials are.

It’s important when traveling to make sure you have your proper documents and information with you. A forgotten swimsuit may be easy to replace, but a lost passport will put your trip on an immediate halt! Make sure to keep all necessary documents together and on you at all times. It’s also a good idea to have copies printed out and placed in different parts of your luggage, just in case the original gets lost or stolen. Keep an itinerary of your trip, including any necessary ticket information, on your phone, as well as with your other documents.

Maintaining a Routine While Traveling

Just as important as your identification and weather-appropriate clothes, it’s important that you maintain as much of your normal routine as possible. That means continuing to use medication, supplements, or oils, keeping a skin care routine, or bringing your daily journal with you. While it might be hard to keep track of everything you do each day, it can help make the transition from vacation mode back to normal life a lot easier. A few weeks before your trip, go through your normal daily routine, but keep track of everything you do. If you take a multivitamin in the morning, add it to your packing list. If you use our CBD Muscle Rub to soothe tight and sore muscles, you’ll probably want to have it on hand when traveling! While you don’t necessarily want to pack everything and the kitchen sink, it’s still worth it to keep track of what you use in a day. It may help you figure out what you should and shouldn’t include in your bag!

Remember, when it comes to packing, it’s better to be safe than sorry. While you don’t want to overload yourself with unnecessary additions, you definitely don’t want to forget the essentials at home.

How to Properly Travel with CBD

If you’re reading this, chances are that CBD is already a part of your daily routine! If not, we’ll tell you why it should be. But before we do that, it’s important to talk about how to safely travel with CBD oil.

Because it’s a liquid, it’s important to ensure that you are carrying no more than 3.4 ounces on the plane. You can buy empty bottles specifically for travel purposes, just be sure to rinse them out before adding your oil in, and clean them before adding more!

In addition to making sure you are carrying the proper amount of CBD, it’s also important that you are storing it safely. Keep it in a small plastic bag with your other liquids, or by itself. This will ensure that if there are any leaks, the other things in your bag will not get ruined. We recommend keeping it in your carry-on if possible, so you can use it while you’re on the flight.

Traveling Domestically

It’s important to determine how to travel with your CBD by where you’re going. If you’re traveling within the United States, great news! CBD oil is legal in every state. So, as long as you’re following the guidelines listed above, you should have no problem bringing it with you, as long as it is hemp-derived and contains less than 0.3 percent of THC.

With that being said, it never hurts to double check the specific laws in the states you’re traveling between. Do a quick internet search to see what they say about CBD where you’re going, especially with the TSA. You don’t want to risk getting it taken away!

Traveling Outside the US

Traveling outside of the United States with CBD oil can get a little tricky. Even though we know there are benefits to using CBD oil, not all countries feel the same! It’s important to do a lot of in-depth, careful research into the laws surrounding CBD products. If you can’t find anything definitive, or just want to be careful, it’s best to leave it at home. While it’s not ideal to have to go without your favorite CBD products, it’s even less ideal to get in trouble in a foreign country!

Benefits of CBD for Travelers

If CBD isn’t already part of your daily routine, let’s talk about why it should at least be part of your travel routine! All of our blends combine high-quality CBD oil with Young Living’s essential oils. Our product line is designed to help you in multiple areas of life, including traveling.

As we mentioned earlier, our CBD Muscle Rub is a great way to soothe and loosen tight and sore muscles. Long plane rides tend to be strenuous on your body, so packing this is a great way to unwind any knots before your adventure begins. It’s menthol qualities also make it a great way to stay alert.

If you want something that can ease tension caused by the stress of traveling, try the Cool Mint CBD Oil. It’s lightly invigorating scent can help ease and relax you when applied to your neck, shoulders, and temples. Are you going to be doing a lot of sightseeing? This oil can also be applied to your feet at the end of a long day to help relax and rejuvenate them.

If you’re looking for a warm, comforting CBD oil, try our Cinnamon CBD Oil blend! On top of all of the usual CBD benefits, this blend contains Young Living’s Cinnamon essential oil. It’s warming effect is a perfect addition to your luxurious massage routine, and can help ease any vacation tension you come across.

If you’re looking for something to wake you up and keep you going, try the Citrus CBD Oil. It’s a great addition to your travel skincare routine, and it’s bright scent can help keep you energized and ready to go. Apply to your face as needed, or to your wrists and temples to make the most out of it’s invigorating aroma!

If you’re looking for something to help relax you on the plane, try the Calm CBD Roll-On. Not only is it compact and easy to use, it’s light, calming scent and CBD properties can help you find peace while in the air. It can also help quiet your mind if you find yourself having a hard time sleeping away from home!

Why Quality CBD is Important

Just because CBD oil is an essential and beneficial part of your traveling routine, it doesn’t mean that just any CBD oil will do! It’s important to do the necessary research when purchasing CBD for the first time. You want to ensure that what you are buying is high-quality, and legal.

When it comes to Nature’s Ultra CBD oil, you can have peace of mind knowing that it contains 0.0 percent THC, and goes through rigorous testing to ensure it’s potency and quality. It is also the only CBD oil that has the Young Living Seed to Seal quality!
